Морские поворотные затворы are the main force of the shipbuilding industry. These valves are easy to install and maintain. Butterfly valves get their name from the way they operate, where a vertical disc rotates around a valve stem to open and close, similar to an insect. On ships, marine butterfly valves vary widely in function and cost, from economical iron valves to triple-eccentric nickel-aluminum-bronze valves. Butterfly valves are "quarter-turn" valves, traditionally operated by levers, gear operators, or actuators. They usually come in a lug or wafer body. The components that make up most butterfly valves are the body, disc, stem and seat. The valve seat is traditionally made of rubber and is the sealing element where the valve meets the disc. Seats can also be made of metal, which is common in fire protection applications. Haiying sells hundreds of marine butterfly valves annually in the commercial and naval ship repair sectors.

The marine butterfly valves shall be classified into two types of ordinary piping valve and marine hull valve, and the shape of the body shall be two types of wafer type and flange type, and the shape of the disc shall be two types of centre-pivoted disc type and eccentric-pivoted disc type.

(3) Description:
For gasoline or other media below 70 ~ 170 ℃, the sealing ring of FPM material should be selected.
NBR rubber and FPM are not suitable for liquefied petroleum media.
Keep the butterfly valve and piping clean before installation to remove slag and dust.
Butterfly valve maintenance and operating devices should be retained prior to installation. The valve should be clamped evenly and thoroughly according to the symmetrical position of the bolts.
Gaskets of the same material should be placed between the valve and the flange during installation.
Marine butterfly valves should not be stacked to avoid deformation of the rubber ring.
The flange should be covered with a protective cover to avoid damage and must not be removed before the pipeline is installed.
The storage temperature shall not be lower than -10°C or maximum 40°C.
